Our Great seal is a representation of the native Moor creation story.
The seal consist of a Moorish woman falling from the Sky World to be caught flying birds to be placed on a Turtles back. This was long ago, before there was any land here and there was water all over, the only things were the creatures that lived in the water and the birds that flew above the waters.
The hole created from the Sky Mother created light over the waters now, as she was falling she tried to grasp hold of something so she would not fall. All she could get was some of the ground and roots of the tree, which is represented by the Earth and Womb Cross in the Moorish woman’s left hand.
The Sky World people had supernatural powers which is represented by the staff or was scepter in the Moorish woman’s right hand which represents Power and Dominion along with the feather of Truth and Justice on her head.
The two palm trees represents Boaz and Jachin the pillars of soul-of-mans (Solomon) temple, the first temple in Heru-salim (Jerusalem). These pillars also have an ancient astronomical meaning of the summer and winter solstice.
